Whether a resident chooses independent living in a townhouse or apartment, a personal care unit suite or more advanced medical services in the nursing unit, the Presbyterian Home of Johnstown provides a caring and comfortable environment with a dedicated, highly trained staff committed to addressing the unique needs of each resident.

Independent Living
Townhouses at the Presbyterian Home come with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, private patio, full kitchens, and private, off-street parking. Residents have access to the Presbyterian Home's services and facilities including beauty shop and gift shop.

Apartment residents enjoy well-appointed one or two bedroom apartments nestled in a picturesque wooded setting close to shopping and public transportation. All apartments feature secure, private entrances, designated parking, individually controlled thermostats, kitchen appliances, laundry facilities, and the option to enjoy dining in the resident's dining room. Residents have access to the Presbyterian Home's services and facilities including beauty shop and gift shop.

Personal Care
Those residents residing in the Personal Care wing receive round-the-clock nursing supervision, assistance with medications and other daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and nutrition management as needed or requested. Residents also enjoy access to a variety of services and amenities such as the dining room, solarium, beauty salon, and activities.

The Home's Personal Care unit is regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.

Nursing Care
In addition to all of the Home's services and amenities, those residents admitted to the nursing care unit are provided more advanced medical care and services. The level and scope of care provided is dependent on the resident's needs and physician's orders. Nursing Care provided at the Home is regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
